Custom Work - Vardy

This is one of my favorite creations from the last year. Dr. Iris Vardy is a really cool orthodontist on the upper west side of Manhattan. I met her in NY where she saw my work while she was out for a run. She knew right a way that she wanted to buy my largest piece The Giant Missing Links. The deal was it just had to fit through her orthodontist office in NYC. Well I knew that it was going to be a tricky fit, the fountain was really big, and everything in New York Cit y is really tight. After a while of maneuvering we ended up getting the big one through the office and into the courtyard behind her building.

Dr. Iris was so happy with the Missing Links that she then went on to purchase a Tree of Life and then ultimately this Custom Work that sits in her waiting area. In total she now has three of my fountains running in her busy orthodontist’s office. What a better way to create a soothing environment then to bring in the sound of running water. After all we have a primal association between the sound of water and security.

Well Dr Iris has probably one of the coolest offices I have ever seen, and I am honored to be a part of it. She is also one of the nicest people I know and I am proud to have her as a collector and a friend.
